Ayesha Curry is coming to the big screen — sort of.
Curry stars alongside Lindsay Lohan in “Irish Wish,” a straight-to-Netflix film that will premiere in March.
This isn’t the first time Curry has dabbled in acting. She actually earned a few roles before marrying her NBA husband, Warriors star Stephen Curry. Curry made an appearance in Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana” in 2009 and briefly appeared in the network’s “Good Luck Charlie” in 2010.
Since then, Curry has only occasionally held a role as a voice actor. She’s no stranger to cameras, though. Even aside from her prominent presence alongside her husband during his six trips to the NBA Finals, Curry hosted a season of “The Great American Baking Show” and served as executive producer and host of the cooking competition “Family Food Fight” in 2019.

What is the ‘Irish Wish’ movie?
“Irish Wish” is a new film starring Lindsay Lohan, in which Lohan plays Maddie, a book editor.
“Maddie’s dream guy is days away from marrying her best friend when a wish for true love made on an ancient stone in Ireland magically alters her fate,” Netflix’s preview of the movie reads.
Curry plays the role of Heather, who is also supposedly Maddie’s best friend — but not the friend who is trying to marry the love of Maddie’s life. Curry recently revealed that her character is the “voice of reason” in the movie, a supportive figure for Lohan’s character.
Lohan, meanwhile, has only acted in a small handful of movies over the last decade, and this release is her first starring role in a film since 2022. She did make a cameo appearance in the rebooted edition of “Mean Girls” released earlier in 2024.
Production began for “Irish Wish” in September 2022, so the movie has been in the works for about 18 months.

Lohan and Curry are the headliners of the film, but Ed Speleers is another significant name featured.
Speleers was part of a large cast for TV series “Downton Abbey,” and he was also recently featured in the fourth season of Netflix’s “You.”
