TOM Odell will be performing in Dublin and Limerick as part of his Black Friday tour.
The singer-songwriter will perform in Trinity College in Dublin on July 1, 2024 as well as in King John’s Castle on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 – and tickets will be on sale later this week.
Announcing the Limerick news, Dolans booker, Mick Dolan said: “Delighted to announce our second show in King John’s Castle for the summer. This will be Tom’s first performance in Limerick and promises to be one of the gigs of the summer.”
These newly announced shows will follow Tom’s tour in the spring during which he’ll play venues across the UK and Europe, on his biggest UK and EU tour of his career so far.
Tom has already sold out multiple shows, including two shows at London’s Roundhouse, and will play to over 100,000 fans. Due to such phenomenal demand, Tom recently added another show in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and upgraded three venues. Tickets are on sale now.
The shows will follow the release of Tom’s recently announced, forthcoming new album Black Friday, out January 26 via UROK. The album will feature the title track that launched the campaign, Black Friday, Somebody Else, and Tom’s
brand-new single that was released on Friday, Answer Phone.
The new album sees Tom Odell entering a rich new musical chapter in his notable journey as a singer, songwriter, musician and producer. Armed with a newfound sense of freedom and creative control, Black Friday is a hypnotic kaleidoscope of organically constructed songs, recorded simply with Tom in his studio, guitar in lap, singing and recording the songs in the same manner they were written, with pure authenticity.
The album’s monster title track, Black Friday, propelled him into the top 100 most streamed artists in the world, racked up two million streams in its first day alone, and 50 million streams to date.
Winner of both the prestigious BRIT and Ivor Novello Awards, Tom Odell has enjoyed a decade-long impressive career, with five immersive albums that have earned him over 27 million monthly listeners on Spotify, 4 billion career streams, and a social reach of 8 million across platforms. He is now one of the most streamed British artists in the world.
Tickets will be on sale this Friday, November 24 from 9am on dolans.ie
