The Hot Box Sauna recently thanked punters for joining them for the opening weekend in Carlingford, Co Louth.
They said: “We are super excited to welcome many new faces to our Saunas here and we have just made some very cool additions to the site that we hope you all enjoy, so keep the eyes peeled.”
It’s the perfect destination to go off the grid and take a break from the world.
Unwind in the wood burning sauna before dipping into the sea for a cool down.
Organisers took to TikTok, posting under @thehotboxsauna, to share a clip of the unique experience.
The shared sauna, with 45 minute sessions, can also be booked for private groups.
They said: “With two-tiered seating and panoramic ocean views, this sauna offers a unique, healthy and memorable experience that willleave you feeling refreshed and relaxed.”
Or visitors can opt for the Yoga & Sauna experience.
They added: “Beginning with a yoga session, the practice enhances flexibility, strength, and mindfulness, preparing the body for the subsequent stages.
“A sauna induces sweating which aids in detoxification and eases muscle tension.
“The addition of the optional cold immersion in plunge pool or the sea promotes muscle recovery, reduces inflammation, and boosts circulation.”
Midweek prices are a bargain €12.50, while weekend prices are €15.
Carlingford Marina offers plenty of accommodation nearby if you want to make a weekend of it.
