Louth stretched their winning run to six matches and sealed their place in the All-Ireland JFC semi-finals with a comprehensive victory over Longford at Pearse Park on Sunday.

Paul Hanlon’s charges produced a stunning display during the second half, having led by 2-6 to 1-5 at the interval, to secure progression to the last four as group winners. They will face Carlow in a fortnight’s time seeking to qualify for a fourth junior decider in a decade.
