Mairead Martin has been very much the queen of Scratch Cup season and she captured her second title at the Cork Golf Club.

The Kanturk woman already won the Woodbrook Scratch Cup at the start of the month and she looks to be in great shape heading into championship season.

An opening round of 70 saw Martin hit the front on four-under-par and she took a two shot lead into the afternoon.

The Irish international backed that up with a second round of 71 to win by four shots on seven-under-par.

Edmondstown’s Anna Abom claimed second place on three-under with Shannon Burke in third and Annabel Wilson fourth.
