Lotto players in Dublin have been urged to carefully check their tickets from last night’s EuroMillions Plus draw after one player scooped the top prize of €500,000.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Monday at Dunnes Stores in the Northside Shopping Centre on the Oscar Traynor Road in Dublin 17.
The winning numbers in Tuesday’s EuroMillions Plus draw were: 01, 13, 18, 23, 33.
A National Lottery spokesperson advised the winner to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe.
“A EuroMillions Plus player in the Dublin 17 area had a Tuesday to remember after scooping the top prize of €500,000 in last night’s Plus draw,” they said.
“We are encouraging all of our players who may have purchased their tickets at Dunnes Stores in the Northside Shopping Centre on Monday to carefully check their tickets today as one player now has a ticket worth a staggering €500,000.
“The winner should make contact with our prize claims team and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize.”
While over 41,000 players in Ireland won prizes across the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws in last night’s draw, there was no outright winner of the €40,110,282 jackpot on offer.
Meanwhile, Friday night is set to be a big night for EuroMillions players all over the country with the jackpot guaranteed at an astonishing €130 million.
In total more than €6 billion has been raised for good causes since the National Lottery was established 36 years ago.
In 2022 alone, €259 million was raised for local good causes in communities across Ireland.
