NAOMH Mairtin picked up the victory they needed to secure the Louth LGFA U14 League Group C title after overcoming the O Raghallaigh’s/Oliver Plunkett’s combination on a warm Thursday evening in Monasterboice.
From the outset, this exhilarating match was fiercely contested, particularly at midfield where both teams battled hard for possession.
Naomh Mairtin, led by their captain on the day Abbi Winters, showed a hunger for victory that was evident in every play, and their ability to capitalise on scoring opportunities was a highlight.
