Dublin South West

12pm: With 67pc tallied in Dublin South West Sinn Fein’s Sean Crowe and Fine Gael’s Colm Brophy have emerged on top with Crowe capturing close to 20pc while Brophy is over 12pc.

While initially Fianna Fail’s Theresa Costello was outperforming her running mate John Lahart in the Tallaght region, the latter has managed to garner more votes in the Rathfarnham Templogue region.

Some smaller parties and independents were confident in acquiring votes, but this has not come to pass.

Former MMA fighter Paddy Holohan is on just over 6pc with 50pc of votes counted mainly in the Tallaght area.
