A recent ‘Afternoon Tea & Fashion’ fundraiser held as part part of the Killarney Rotary Club’s 40th anniversary celebrations back in October has successfully raised €4,500 for its chosen charities of the local branch of the Irish Cancer Society’s Night Nurses Support as well as the Fuchsia Ward in St Columbanus’.

The event, which first began back in 2008 under the stewardship of Ciara Irwin Foley, has become a permanent fixture on the Rotary Club’s calendar and each year it proves to consistently be a very enjoyable afternoon of socialising in the beautiful setting that is the Garden Room at the Great Southern.
