There’s a famous quote from novelist Anita Desai that “wherever you go becomes a part of you somehow”. Conor Grimes could never have guessed how a year of travel, finished off with a sojourn to India, would shape his future.

Grimes had taken time away from the Louth football set-up in 2017 to satisfy his, and his future wife Jayne’s, wanderlust. During his travels in Asia he noticed some major differences with the Indian cuisine and learned how their diet could help people suffering with crippling arthritis, a disease his granny suffered greatly with.
